Recognizing parents as the primary religious educators of their children, St. Peter the Apostle’s Religious Education program, sets its goal to assist parents with the task of allowing children to see the love God has for them. Children learn about Jesus Christ through the Word, and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit though prayer and service to others.
The RE staff provides on-going instruction in Christian Doctrine as found in the scriptures and traditions of the Catholic Church.

RE seeks to foster a love for communal and personal prayer, especially through participation in the Eucharistic Liturgy and other forms of liturgy. The teaching techniques, as necessary for passing on our faith to the children, are ones of celebration and welcome. The focus of all scheduled meeting times is that we are together to praise the Good News of Eternal Life, to tell others about God’s gift to us, and to be in service to one another.
