Bereavement Committee

This committee serves families of the parish who have experienced the death of a loved one. Committee members may offer hospitality, attend wake services and comfort families during funeral services.

Caroline Ministry

The Caroline Ministry is intended to offer relief to families and loved ones of people confined to home or bed. For their own health and well-being, caregivers need “time away” or they might have other obligations to tend to.

Arbor of Itasca Outreach

This group reaches out to the elderly members of our community in residence at the Arbor of Itasca. Outreach is provided by visiting the home monthly to pray, socialize and provide simple refreshments.

Garden Angels

This group of parishioners works tirelessly to nurture and beautify the parish grounds by planting, watering, weeding and maintaining the landscape around the church and parish center.

Transitional Housing Project

Transitional Housing helps homeless families become self-supportive, self-reliant contributors to society. The program’s focus is to move families to self sufficiency. It assists people who are ready to move beyond emergency shelter into a more independent living situation and allows individuals and families to further develop the stability, confidence and coping skills needed to sustain permanent housing.

St. Vincent DePaul Society

This organization concerns itself with activities that assist the poor. Our parish society sponsors an annual St. Joseph Day Table to raise money to help these efforts.

Right To Life

This committee organizes activities and provides the parish with information regarding the quality and preservation of life. Focus is placed on the Catholic Church’s position of a consistent ethic of life from conception to natural death.

Wedding Aid

Wedding Aids assist couples with their wedding to ensure that the liturgical celebration flows properly. Aids help set up and take down the wedding decorations and are available to assist with the church logistics.
