Crochet for a Cause!

February 4 and 18 10:00 am
Margaret Woods Parish Hall

MATS FOR THE HOMELESS - Do you know how to crochet? Would you like to learn or help in other ways? Then feel free to come by and join the efforts of this new group motivated to help the homeless. The group will crochet plastic sleeping mats for the homeless using grocery store type plastic bags. The mats help insulate from the cold and damp, but also making laying on cement a bit more comfortable. If you are an experienced crochet hobbyist, bring a P or Q hook, and bags will be provided. If crocheting isn’t your thing, but would like to help, then come with a pair of sharp scissors to cut plastic bags and roll into balls.

The group meets at 10:00 am in Margaret Woods Hall on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Get to know some of your fellow parishioners while supporting a good cause. Please contact the Parish Center if you have any questions.

All parishioners are welcome and encouraged to attend, as well as to reach out to invite anyone who may be struggling to find their way  "Home.“
