Mass Sign-up and Guidelines for Mass Attendance

Moving forward in our return to worshiping in our physical space, a few modifications are being implemented to the current Mass attendance process. Based on direction from Bishop Pates and diocesan guidelines, advance sign-up for mass attendance will begin with this weekend.

Advance registration offers benefits such as assuring that the mass you choose to attend is not over capacity, as well as providing easier check-in and accurate record-keeping (registration lists are destroyed after 14 days).

Those with internet access are asked to sign up by clicking on the link below. Please sign up for an available mass time and indicate the number of family members in your group. With our current capacity of 150 attendees, the online sign-up will provide 130 slots, allowing 20 slots for those who are unable to sign-up online.

Anyone unable to register on-line is asked to call the Parish Center at 630-773-1272 (x200) to make a request. If you are unable to register online, or the sign-up closes before you have a chance to register, please know that you are still welcome to come to church for any of the mass times and sign in at the door. Staff and volunteers are doing their best to accommodate everyone and do not intend to turn away anyone as long as there is ample space

Sign-up will be open Sunday through Saturday for the upcoming week/weekend, and you are able to sign up for the entire week at one time. Walk-ins are welcome if you are unable to register online (please arrive at least 20-minutes early to allow ample time to sign in and be seated).

Please note:

  • Weekend sign-up will close at noon on Saturday

  • Daily mass sign-up will close at 8:00 pm the night before the respective mass

Please do not hesitate to call the Parish Center at 630-773-1272 (ext. 200) if you need any assistance.

Guidelines for Mass Attendance

In anticipation of reopening our Church for communal gathering and celebration of Mass, please take a minute to review these "Guidelines for Mass Attendance" prior to attending Mass, so that you know what to anticipate and how to participate.

NOTE: If sign-up slots are "full/closed", please know that additional seating will be available in Margaret Woods Hall to accommodate overflow.

Sign-in will be available at the door prior to all Services and Masses.

Please arrive early to allow ample time to be seated, whether you are signed up in advance or need to do so at the door.

NOTE: MASS SIGN-UP IS NO LONGER NECESSARY. Parishioners are invited to Mass without registration or seating restrictions. In accordance with current Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance, fully-vaccinated individuals can participate in indoor and outdoor activities, large or small, without wearing a mask or physical distancing. (“fully-vaccinated” refers to people who are two weeks past their last required COVID-19 vaccine dose.) Individuals who have not been vaccinated should continue to wear masks.

For those who still prefer to adhere to safety protocols, "Safe Seating" is now provided at ALL masses. Please use the front left section of the Church if you wish to maintain social distancing at mass. Alternate row seating is in place; masks and hand sanitizer will be optional.
