And I tell you, you are Peter,
and on this rock I will build my church,
and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven,
and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
~ Matthew 16:18-19 (NRSV)

Guidelines for Mass Attendance and Parish Activities
(as of May 5, 2022)
The progress of the COVID‑19 pandemic in Illinois remains unpredictable. The Diocese of Joliet continues to consult with public health, education, and civil authorities and modify requirements as conditions, mandates, and guidance change. We are committed to providing an integrated, safe, responsible, and balanced perspective. Faithful citizenship is key. We expect individuals to take personal responsibility for the common good, and their own safety. Remember that taking every precaution to reduce the spread of the virus is an act of charity toward others in Christ, particularly toward the sick, the elderly, and those too young to receive vaccine protection.
The Diocese of Joliet will follow Illinois public health guidelines and offers. Click on the link below for details for church services and activities effective May 5, 2022:
The decision to WEAR A MASK is left to the discretion of each individual.
