All are invited to bring their needs for physical, emotional and spiritual healing to this beautiful liturgy, especially those who are experiencing the various infirmities that afflict bodies in later years, or those who are anticipating surgery soon.

Anointing of the Sick and Healing Mass
An Anointing of the Sick and Healing Mass is offered on the first Saturday of the last month of the quarter (the next date is December 7).
The sacrament of Anointing is not limited to those who are dying. According to the Cathechism, “The anointing of the sick is not a sacrament for those only who are at the point of death. Hence, as soon as anyone of the faithful begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age, the fitting time for him to receive this sacrament has certainly already arrived” (CCC 1514).
