The crochet group makes plastic sleeping mats for the homeless using grocery type plastic bags. New Life for Old Bags is a collaboration of volunteers coming together to make sleeping mats for the homeless. The mats help insulate from the cold and damp, but also making laying on cement a bit more comfortable.
